CastWarm Heated Rod Handle Sleeve
Warm hands on the rod you already own. A heated sleeve for your grip and a battery pod that swaps in for the butt cap, for casting, spinning and ice rods.

Cold hands kill a good day of fishing
Late fall, early spring and ice season are when a lot of the best fishing happens, and when your hands go numb. Fingers stiffen up, tying knots and feeling light bites gets hard, and thick gloves take away the feel you need to detect a strike. Hand warmers in a pocket don't help the hand that's holding the rod.
A sleeve plus a pod. That's it.
Wrap the sleeve on your grip
A size-adjustable heated sleeve wraps around the handle of a rod you already own and holds with a hook-and-loop closure. Thin carbon-fiber heating elements warm the area under your hand.
Swap in the battery pod
The rechargeable battery pod replaces the rod's butt cap. Its weight sits behind your hand, acting as a counterweight for balance while casting.
Press for heat
One button cycles through 3 heat levels. When the day's done, recharge the pod over USB-C.

Features reflect the current prototype design and may change during testing.
Prototype in progress
We're building and testing working prototypes now: checking how warm the grip gets, how long the battery lasts in real cold, and how the rod feels when casting. We'll share honest results as we go.
After testing, we're planning a Kickstarter campaign. The planned early-bird price is $59, with a target retail price of $89. Pricing isn't final.

Questions
Will it fit my rod?
It's designed to adjust to a range of grip sizes on casting, spinning and ice rods. We're confirming the exact size range during prototype testing.
Do I have to buy a new rod?
No. It's designed as an add-on for rods you already own.
How long does the battery last?
We're measuring that now in real cold-weather testing and will publish actual numbers rather than guesses. Runtime will depend on heat level and conditions.
Is it waterproof?
Water resistance is a design goal we're testing. We'll publish the final rating once it's verified.
When can I buy one?
We're planning a Kickstarter after prototype testing. Join the launch list and we'll email you when it goes live.
How much will it cost?
The planned early-bird price is $59 and the target retail price is $89. Final pricing will be confirmed at launch.
